Video Lightbox Helps Small Businesses Shine
For those real estate agents and small business owners who are “video-challenged” when it comes to their websites, there’s a great tool that makes uploading and sharing videos a snap. It’s called Video Lightbox, and it couldn’t be simpler to use. I just discovered it recently when I was looking for a useful video tool for my own business website. Here’s how it works…
Simply drag any number of video files on your computer into the “Add Video” window. Or if you have videos on YouTube or other video sharing sites, you can quickly paste the links into the same window…

Then click on the “Customize Thumbnail” tab to change the look, size, and functionality of the thumbnails. A great feature of Video Lightbox is that it automatically chooses a thumbnail for you, saving you the hassle of creating one yourself.

Step 3 is to customize your videos. You can choose from a few video player templates, and set the video size. A unique feature is the Watermark option, which lets you add a text watermark to your video.

Then, you’re ready to publish your set of videos. Publishing simply means you’re making it available to see on your website. Or you can preview the finished webpage by publishing it to a folder on your computer. If you want to upload it to your site, you’ll need your hosting account’s ftp information like your login and password. You can choose where on your webserver you’d like to put the webpage, and Video Lightbox takes care of the rest…

The best thing about Video Lightbox is that it adds multiple videos to one webpage and displays them in an elegant, clean, and functional way. All a visitor has to do is click on one of the thumbnails, and the video opens up right over the webpage and begins playing. It’s a much more useful way of adding multiple videos to your website then embedding a bunch of videos on one page or using links. Another big advantage is that by using Video Lightbox you don’t have to be a web guru to add your video content to your website. All you really need is a YouTube account and lots of video content, and you’re ready to roll.
Take a look at some demos by clicking here, or visit the Video Lightbox homepage for more info. And just to let you know, I’m not being paid to review this product. I just think it’s an easy-to-use tool for people who don’t know how to get video on their websites. And anything that makes sharing videos easier is a winner in my book…
